We have some news.
After months of preparation, planning and a vision that was present from the very first day we opened our doors, Revity Pilates is officially a certified STOTT PILATES Academy Partner.
We are one of a select group of accredited education facilities in Canada authorized to deliver STOTT PILATES instructor certification programs and we are bringing that education right here to Burlington, Ontario.
This is a milestone we are profoundly proud of. And it opens an entirely new chapter not just for Revity, but for every aspiring Pilates instructor, every fitness professional, and every movement lover in our community who has ever thought about taking their practice to the next level.

What Is STOTT PILATES — And Why Does It Matter?
STOTT PILATES, a brand of Merrithew International, is widely regarded as the global gold standard for evidence-based, anatomically sound Pilates education. Founded on the principles of modern exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, STOTT PILATES goes far beyond traditional Pilates methodology. It integrates biomechanics, muscle function, and postural alignment into every aspect of its curriculum.

As a STOTT PILATES Academy Partner, Revity Pilates is officially authorized to host STOTT PILATES certification courses taught by STOTT-certified Instructor Trainers at our Burlington studio.
This means that the same world-class education that has been available at major metropolitan training centres is now available in Burlington, at a studio you already know, in a community you are already part of.
It also means that Revity is held to the highest standards of facility quality, equipment compliance, and instructional integrity. Our partnership with STOTT Academy is not just a credential, it is an ongoing commitment to delivering education that meets the most rigorous professional standards in the industry.
Why Burlington — And Why Now?
Burlington sits at the heart of one of Canada's fastest-growing wellness corridors. The West GTA, encompassing Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, Hamilton, and surrounding communities and is home to a large and deeply health-conscious population that has embraced Pilates not as a fitness trend, but as a long-term lifestyle practice.
And yet, until now, aspiring Pilates instructors in this region faced a significant barrier: to access reputable, internationally recognized certification, they had to travel into Toronto, navigating commutes, higher costs, and scheduling challenges that placed serious Pilates education out of reach for many.
Revity Pilates is changing that. Burlington now has its own certified STOTT PILATES Academy and the West GTA has the education infrastructure its community deserves
Our location at 2180 Itabashi Way in Burlington puts us within easy reach of Oakville, Hamilton, Mississauga, Milton, and the surrounding communities. We are not just serving Burlington, we are serving an entire region that has been waiting for this.
Our Story — Why We Built Revity Around STOTT From Day One
When Aleksandra Popovic and Goran Lacic founded Revity Pilates in March 2025, the decision to build the studio around the STOTT PILATES methodology was not a marketing choice, it was a personal conviction.
Aleksandra completed her own STOTT PILATES Reformer, Matwork, and Injuries & Special Populations certifications through STOTT Academy, and built a team of seven STOTT-trained instructors from the studio's very first day. Every class, every program, and every client interaction at Revity reflects the principles and standards of the STOTT methodology.
Within our first twelve months of operation, Revity grew to serve over 750 clients, with more than 300 active memberships and 600+ monthly visits. That growth is not accidental, it is the result of a commitment to quality, precision, and a client experience that goes far beyond a typical fitness studio.
Hosting STOTT certification courses was always the next chapter.
And now that chapter begins.
What Courses Will Be Available at Revity Pilates?
Starting fall 2026, Revity Pilates will be offering the following STOTT PILATES certification courses:
Anatomy & Exercise Fundamentals — Online (Prerequisite)
The essential foundation course for anyone beginning the STOTT PILATES certification pathway. This course covers the science of human movement, anatomy, exercise physiology, and the foundational principles that underpin all STOTT PILATES programming. Delivered online for maximum accessibility, this course is the prerequisite for all subsequent certification programs.
Ideal for: Anyone beginning their Pilates education journey, fitness professionals looking to understand movement science, or existing instructors seeking a deeper anatomical foundation.
Intensive Matwork Certification — Online
A comprehensive certification program covering the complete STOTT PILATES Matwork curriculum. This course develops a thorough understanding of Matwork exercises, modifications, progressions, and contraindications — all grounded in the STOTT approach to spinal stability, alignment, and control. Delivered online for scheduling flexibility.
Ideal for: Aspiring Pilates instructors, yoga teachers expanding into Pilates, fitness professionals seeking a Matwork credential, and existing instructors upgrading to STOTT certification.
Intensive Reformer Certification — In Person at Revity Burlington
The flagship STOTT PILATES Reformer certification — delivered in person at our Burlington studio on our Merrithew V2 Max Plus Reformers. This hands-on certification program develops comprehensive competency in Reformer-based instruction, including exercise execution, cueing, modifications, and client assessment. Taught by a Merrithew-certified Instructor Trainer.
Ideal for: Anyone serious about a career in Pilates instruction, fitness professionals adding Reformer to their credentials, and instructors certified in other methodologies seeking the internationally recognized STOTT standard.

We are also building something for the long term. As demand grows and our equipment expands, our vision is to offer full STOTT PILATES certification cycles entirely in-house, becoming a comprehensive education hub for the West GTA region.

When we opened Revity in March 2025, we had a clear vision: to build something that was about more than just fitness.
